Mr. Hook volunteered to be a Dungeon Master for a local tabletop RPG campaign for nearly two years (2007-08). During that time he only ran dungeons published by established game companies, mostly Dungeon Crawl Classics by Goodman Games.

To provide his players with a sense of scale and atmosphere for the various “dungeons” they might encounter, Mr. Hook took it upon himself to model many of these gaming modules in digital 3D. Utilizing SketchUp and Photoshop, he was able to provide his players a wide variety of RPG visual aids. After Mr. Hook migrated to being a player in other people's campaigns, he continued to supply his fellow DMs with ancillary visual material.

Mr. Hook posted most of these visual aids on the Goodman Games forums (amongst others) under the forum-name “None the Wiser” since Mr. Hook did not own the copyrights to the original material and didn’t want anyone to assume otherwise. With permission from the publisher, Mr. Hook posted many of his 3D models at Google’s 3D Warehouse so other DMs around the world could benefit from his labor.
